I have seven years experience as a public school science teacher. I have taught Life Science, Biology, Physical Science, Earth Science, Principles of Technology, and Geometry. I am a member of the National Science Teachers Association, Arkansas Science Teachers Association, River Valley Math and Science Alliance, Astronomical Society of the Pacific, and National School Conference Institute. |

Experiences
My previous experiences include fifteen years in the USAF. Some of my duty assignments have included Missile Combat Crew Commander, 91st Strategic Missile Wing, Minot AFB, North Dakota; Range Operations Supervisor, Western Test Range, Vandenberg AFB, California; and Chief, Current Launch Operation, US Space Command, Petterson AFB, Colorado. I held the rank of Captain.
Awards
I have been awarded the Achievement Medal, Combat Readiness Medal, Commendation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and National Defense Service Medal.
In 2000 the Arkansas Science Teachers Association honored me as the Arkansas Science Teacher of the Year.
